MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH (LIVE SCORE & REMIX)
April 4 | Brooklyn Museum
Little Cinema remixes and reimagines the sci-fi masterpiece, The Man Who Fell to Earth (Nicolas Roeg, 1976), complete with a new live score by musicians from David Bowie's final album 'Blackstar', Mark Guiliana and Tim Lefebvre. This is an official side show to the David Bowie is: An Exhibition
Little Cinema brings its signature flair creating a true multi-disciplinary, audio-visual experience with video remixing by Chnnls (Jay Rinsky), dance choreography by Katherine Crockett (Martha Graham, Queen Of The Night) vocals by Daisy Press and more.
The film features David Bowie in his acting debut as Thomas Jerome Newton, an alien who has come to Earth in search of water to save his home planet and family. It has gone on to develop a cult following for its surreal imagery and Bowie's commanding performance.
Tickets are $20 and include General Admission to the Brooklyn Museum. (Tickets to the David Bowie Is exhibition need to be purchased separately.)
The evening is presented in partnership with Catskill Jazz Factory & Kings Theatre.
