About the Film:
The Labyrinth is a cult classic fantasy film directed by Jim Henson, produced by George Lucas, starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. It follows Sarah’s ( Jennifer Connelly ) quest through a magical maze to rescue her infant brother Toby who has been kidnapped by Jareth, the Goblin King (David Bowie). With the exception of Connelly and Bowie, most of the film's significant characters are played by puppets produced by Jim Henson's, Creature Shop. It’s a rare moment in film history that such diverse and legendary creative talents as Bowie, Henson and Lucas joined forces.
