In January 2018 Little Cinema produced an immersive premiere party for TNT and Paramount the Alienist. Little Cinema spearheaded the creative direction and production of an award winning event that brought the world of the Alienist to life. ✦ The collaboration earned us the Biz Bash Best Event over 250,000 award.
The Paramount Studio Lot was decorated with a custom set-build to resemble New York in 1896 - the period of The Alienist. On set, over 50 actors, musicians and performers created a fully immersive environment playing everything from period policemen to paper boys. ✦ A working recreation of Delmonico’s Restaurant (the first restaurant to open in New York City) served food and entertained guests. ✦ A vaudeville stage gave host to performers from jugglers, to acrobats. Little Cinema produced and performed a 15 minute audiovisual art piece using content from The Alienist to end the party with a bang.
In early 2018, TNT commissioned Little Cinema to produce and perform a 15 minute audiovisual art piece using content from their new offering, The Alienist. ✦ The piece was performed live at The Alienist FYC event to support their nomination for the Best Limited Series Emmy.
Performers from Martha Graham Dance company and Cirque Du Soleil performed alongside musicians and the screen, in a piece that played with the show’s themes of identity and innocence. ✦ Luke Evans, who stars in The Alienist performed in the piece live on stage, reading poetry in a call and response with the screen.
