In 2019, Little Cinema worked under director Darren Aronofsky’s supervision to adapt his feature film Mother! For presentation on the ISM Hexadome for an exclusive installation at Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal (MAC) for Mutek festival's 20 year anniversary.
Designed by the Institute of Sound & Music, Berlin, the ISM Hexadome comprises six giant screens, Epson advanced laser projection technology, and a bespoke 52-channel Meyer Sound Labs spatial sound system. ✦ Its unique architecture allowed Little Cinema to place audiences within the walls of Mother!'s octagonal house, offering new dimensions to the piece through complete, 360° cinematic immersion.
