For the premiere of Nat Geo's original series “Secrets of the Whales,” Little Cinema was invited to reimagine the score of the series and host the exclusive world premiere in our state-of-the-art virtual theatre.
✦ Welcomes from Sigourney Weaver and the series composer Raphaelle Thibaut introduced our guests to our “Secrets of the Whales - Score Re-Imagined” performance.
✦ This one-time only audiovisual performance from acclaimed composer Ricardo Romaneiro and the Little Cinema Orchestra featured spectacular whale imagery from the series combined with an eclectic ensemble of live orchestration mimicking whale songs.
✦ After the exquisite performance, our guests screened the first episode of “Secrets of the Whales” in our virtual theater.
✦ To close out the event we provided our audience with an in-depth look at the making of the project through an exclusive Q&A with executive producer James Cameron and National Geographic photographer Brian Skerry.
