Brooklyn Museum
Little Cinema and Brooklyn Museum have an ongoing partnership that allows Little Cinema to produce events around areas of cultural significance. ✦ Little Cinema has produced 5 cinematic/cultural events with Brooklyn Museum.
Frida (Immersive)
Our ongoing partnership with Brooklyn museum continued in April 2019 to present Frida (Immersive), as part of their exhibition, Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving. We created a multimedia, immersive screening of Julie Taymor’s, Frida (2002). The show featured larger than life puppets, dance, performance art, live music, projection mapping and live audiovisual remixing. This one-off spectacle truly celebrated the influential life, art and style of Frida.
David Bowie in Film

The Holy Mountain (immersive screening)
In October 2017, The New York Latino Film Festival and Little Cinema presented an immersive screening of cult-classic surrealist film The Holy Mountain (Alejandro Jodorowsky, 1973) featuring live performances, and a live score by Black Lodge.
